Long Time, No Talk

How is everyone?!  I have been MIA for a couple of months, but there has just been SO MUCH going on.  Since we last talked, I've started my new job as a Special Events Coordinator at Bridgewater College.  I absolutely love what I do!  Getting into the event planning industry has always been one of my dreams, and now it's becoming a reality.  I get to spend my days thinking about table settings, centerpieces, seating arrangements, and table linens; just a few of the wonderful things that make an event unforgettable.  I've learned so much since I started back in September, and I'm continuing to learn more and more every single day.  I'm falling in love with what I do, and that's such an amazing feeling.  I'm a total believer in loving what you do.  If you love your job, then it's really not a job, is it?  I think that everyone should find their passion and go for it!

I can't wait to share some of the amazing things that I've been working on and doing since I took a break from blogging.  I really wanted to jam pack it all into this entry, but what's the fun in that?  As you've probably figured out, this blog has no theme; no focus.  It's just a hodgepodge of my crazy life.  I am who I am.  At one time, I wanted to keep who I was a secret, but then something triggered inside me that made me realize that I'm so proud to be me.  I am unapologetically myself (is unapologetically a word?) and it is seriously the best feeling in the world.  Please stay tuned for my adventures in event planning, my new found love for fitness, my everlasting passion for fashion, my favorite music, my dreams, my bad days, my good days, the things I despise, and everything in between.  I don't think you'll be disappointed!

  1. Yes! Unapologetically is a word, and a fantastic thing to be. You know who you are, and there should never be a reason to be apologetic about that.

I'm glad you're falling in love with your job, I love seeing the events come together (even if I don't attend them...), and you're fantastic—a natural.
